Hey there, I’m Alex!

I started Nature’s Way Lifestyle with the help from my co-founder, and Mum, Andrea. Thank you for visiting our website and we hope our health and wellbeing tools help you live, eat, and feel better!

 

Hi, I’m Andrea

I’ve been actively involved in health, safety and wellbeing for over 25 years in my profession, and for the last 10 years, I’ve mostly been living my ideal lifestyle.  (I say mostly because life still throws the odd curve-ball like it will always do.)

In 2012 I decided it was time to make some changes.  You can read my story in the Blog post – just make a cup of tea first!

These days, when I’m not helping people discover their best life through the powerfully lifechanging Transformational Life Coaching, HypnoTation, and NLP sessions, I’m working on our group training and coaching programmes to deliver real change to people ready to design and create their very own ideal lifestyle.

A few industry stats…

· Britain’s diet industry is worth £2 billion. People are constantly buying into it, yet 68% of adults are overweight or obese. These figures are still on the rise.

· 20% of Year 6 children (10–11 year olds) are also classed as over-weight or obese. This is a huge concern for the future generation and their health and wellbeing

· The average dieter attempts 4-5 diets per year!

· Less than 1% of those diets are successful in their long-term weight loss.

With stats like that, something in this industry is very wrong!

Food is medicine…

Taking the years to try different ‘diets’ has given us an open approach to diet, health and wellbeing and exercise. One thing we will always stand by is that food is medicine, it is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle.

But we also know different foods work for different people and what’s an easy transition for some, can take months for others.

This is why we started NWL. People who want to change their lives, are being failed.

We’ve put our experience and knowledge together and created something that we wish we had when we began – an open-minded, positive environment for individuals who want to change their life in a way that works for them.

Over the years, we’ve cut through the crap and discovered what works. Now NWL is founded around 6 key pillars to become your best self.

Food is medicine. It’s the foundation to any successful diet or lifestyle change. It is the key to long-lasting results and living a healthful life. The food you eat effects your physical and mental health. It’s crucial to get it right.

Fitness and Exercise go hand-in-hand with living a healthy life; mind, body and soul. Over the years we have seen a lot of people neglect the importance of simple and easy exercise on our physical and mental health.

Mental Health

Mental health can be improved with diet, exercise and other lifestyle choices. Sounds simple, but it can difficult for many to take the first steps. Andrea is a Mental Health First Aider and coaches individuals on how to manage and imporve their own mental health, and the health of those around them. We don’t neglect the power of our mind when it comes to health and wellness.

We are all Spiritual beings. Whether you’re religious or atheist, spiritual practices like raising your vibration will help you lead a more healthful and abundant life in all areas. We’re all for improving your health through diet and exercise, but don’t underestimate the power of the universe and what it can do for your life!

How you interact with the environment influences everything in your life. We are all connected to what’s around us, for example, a cluttered home can make us feel overwhelmed, or litter in our favourite park can put us down. We recognise there is an unbreakable link between the health of our planet and it’s us. Sustainable living is essential for a healthier you!
